Precious Sky

Hi there!
My name is Precious. I’m an Animator, Illustrator, Story Artist, and Fiber Artist. The work I create spans a range of techniques, from stop-motion and frame-by-frame animation to traditional craft and illustration. My professional Animation degree is from the Columbus College of Art and Design.I’ve had my work exhibited in festivals, theaters, and a few galleries across Columbus, the place I currently call home. However, I grew up closer to the Great Lakes in Saginaw, Michigan, a small-ish city near the crook of the thumb.Professionally, my artwork is inspired by my nostalgia and personal experience growing up in the early '00s. I witnessed a stark rise in technology and gadgets during my childhood and a subsequent takeover of the internet and social media in my early teens, shaping my experiences online and in the world. I love and am inspired by girls' toys and tech of the time, like Littlest Pet Shop and Bratz; and specifically the pink Nintendo DSI. I love anything Kitchy, Maximalist, and Colorful; words I'd also use to describe my work.
